John Bergman, well known as “ Dutch Jo h n ,” went to the defense of Koblopp, when the elder Vinson stabbed him in the right breast, inflicting a horrible wound, which proved fatal yesterday. After Koblopp was shot, lie grappled young Vinson, threw him to the floor and dealt him several blows, but was forced to desist by falling strength. Both men were immediately arrested and put in tlie steel cage in the county jail. Excitement ran very high, but tlie officials took extra precautions about the jail.
